Hello!
Leska kerrek is a small handmade jewellery outfit comprising of a Cornish couple: Shane and Hollie.
History
We started creating jewellery at our home in Cornwall in 2023 and selling them on our etsy store (https://leskakerrek.etsy.com). We currently have over 500 worldwide orders on that platform. Early 2024 we started to supply shops across the UK with our unique, alternative pieces. We then started selling on other platforms - eBay, Vinted and Faire.
In 2025 we started selling pieces here on our own website.
As of March 2025 - Across all platforms and methods of sale, we've sent over 1000 handmade pieces of jewellery all over the world. Over 20 shops across the UK also stock our pieces.
Our Jewellery
Our name closely reflects our vision:
- Leska is the Cornish word for the motion of rocking or swaying
- Kerrek is the Cornish word for the physical rock or stone
So essentially Leska Kerrek is "rock rock" - many of our pieces are carved from stone so it seemed fitting to suggest that people rock our rocks (bit of a modern play on words with the verb rock).
As well as stone, we make pieces from antler, crystal, copper, silver, pewter. From carving, engraving and drilling to casting and forging - we've been loving the process of creating really unique items of jewellery.
Not a week goes by that we are not testing out new ideas, making a mess and learning how not to do things!
